Journal club about IVM

On February 23rd, one of our scientist was invited to participate in a session focused on In vitro oocyte maturation: “IVM in all its Glory”, organized by the ESHRE Journal Club via X/Twitter.

The session opened with the discussion of a study performed by Mostinckx et al (2024), reporting their experience with IVM in hyper-responders patients, compared to traditional COS (controlled ovarian stimulation).

The discussion was followed by a series of questions related to IVM such as: possible benefits and limits of IVM, obstacles to overcome for its application in clinical practice (from the clinical and laboratory perspective) and future directions of IVM research, among others.
