The Fertility Preservation course in cancer patients was held on October 11, 2017, in the auditorium of the Research and Development Laboratories at the Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia. It was co-organized by BIOMER and the Peruvian Fertility Society, as a pre-congress of the 18th Peruvian Congress of Reproductive Medicine.
The objectives of the course were:
- To provide and exchange knowledge on assisted human reproduction techniques, focused on fertility preservation (Oncofertility).
- To provide new approaches in the Oncofertility fiels, promoting the best performance of clinical and research activities for the benefit of the patient.
- To create a collaborative research platform in the field of fertility preservation.
